finished the game took around 20 hrs and had 18 crashes which is a joke on top of that the game never gave me the choice to spare any racket bosses and the list goes on WTF seriously man how is this possible in 2016 its a shame because the game had so much
potential i loved the story,characters and the soundtrack but everything else is either broke or poorly done but despite everything im glad i bought it watching the story unfold was worth it

 

It's funny how some people get glitches and others don't, and I'm not saying that sarcastically, but I must have played about 10 hours with no glitches or problems.

But I tend to be lucky with games as I rarely get glitches.

 

Doc if you had to score the game what would you give it?

 

@pkvas i would give the story, characters, soundtrack and voice acting 10/10 everything else 5/10

 

20 hours isn't very long. Was there a lot of side missions left to complete or a lot of achievements left to get?

 

@brandiesel1 20 hrs was to long for this game the main story mission structure was the same 3 missions over and over it gets very repetative the game forces you to revisit locations you already cleared everytime you draw out a boss which is just bad game
design whats the point of having a open wold game if your not gonna take advantage of it there are some really great missions too just not enough and to answer your question there are some side quest and collectibles left i have 34/55 achievements

Couple of issues I've had on the game last night and today.

It's dash boarded a few times during cut scenes. On the 2k forums some on reporting this on the mission ( can't remember name ) on the big river boat, only way to get past is to skip cutscene.

And 2 achievements didn't pop/show for me until I turned console off then back on.

So few niggles but stil absolutely loving the story

 

I really have got to praise the story on this. I must be nearing end now but for me best story in this type of open world game I've played.

Not sure if true but someone posted on 2k forums that once you finish main story you can free roam but only for collectibles. All side/optional missions disappear so keep in mind folks.

 

Can you still run around and do side missions after the story is over? I'm so undecided about this game. Sometimes it looks good and other times not as much.

Can't confirm either way but I've seen some post that once main story is over all side/optional missions disappear, only thing to do is hunt collectibles. I don't think I'm that far off finishing the main story so as soon as I know foe sure I'll post back.


I'd love to recommend you buying this straight away, for me the story alone is the best I've seen in a open world/GTA style game, for me that way it wipes the floor with GTA but ..

It's the issues. Now for me no more problems to what I've already posted but others have had major problems. Like any game that suffers technical problems it affects some worse than others so for that reason I'd suggest holding off a bit.

Hopefully they will fix the issues soon, then I'd say grab it, again for me it's worth it just for the main story.

 

I'm sure there was a 2.something gb update for this when I installed it lol! Sacrilege that I've played this for barely 2 hours.

Even my wife who usually wouldn't go for this sort of story, she doesn't really like films/games that have a lot of violence, swearing etc has watched me play it, then next day she will ask .( no spoilers ) .... "What happened to him? How did it turn out
for them?"...

The game for me is like buying a great box set, you think I'll just watch one but end up waving three, then when you stop watching you can't wait to put it in again.
