    Madden 25 Head to Head - An account limitatoin is not allowing


    So!

    New to xbox and xbox live in general. The console is my son's. I set up the account for him and I guess I set him up as a child because he can't play Madden head to head. We just not bought a card and redeemed it for a year of Xbox live gold but it's
    useless.

    What do I need to do to allow him access? I gave his account access to everything, for the night, just so he could play head to head for 1 game but I couldn't still access it.

    I will say that when I log his account in I get a msg saying that I need to confirm his account or something like that and if I hit the silver X button it logs me in....

    Sorry for the vague details but the console is downstairs.

    Not to turn this into a endless argument 6 months after the original post, but I got the system first because I walked into a Best Buy and paid for it. There is a significant difference between being a beta user (or buying a development kit) and purchasing
    a retail unit. There is an expectation that the unit works as advertised. The issue being described wasn't some minor bug; The game wouldn't play. In fact, it still has a similar issue.

    Putting pressure on companies who are releasing sub par products is a valid and effective way to get them to work on being better.

    I just got my xbox one and I am having the same issue. Me and a buddy of mine tried endless times to play a game but it kept giving the same message that "your connection to EA server was lost or something of the sort. We tried everything from complete shutdown
    to modem reboot and nothing worked! Why is this issue not being resolved?

    You need to confirm the privacy settings on his account by logging into yours and accepting the changes.

    There are 2 profiles that have XBOX LIVE next to them. 1 is my son's account and 1 is the one that was setup initially, I think. Regardless, I don't see how to confirm any settings anywhere. Both accounts seem the exact same. I can go into accounts on
    both profiles and mess w/the family settings.

    Can you please tell me exactly how to confirm the settings?

    Early adopters need to understand that they get the console first, in exchange for putting up with hiccups. MS is under no obligation to provide you with compensation, more so because this seems like an error on EA's part, not Microsoft's.
