Madden 23 not able to select sides

Hello,

Basically the game hasn't allowed me to select sides when on the select team portion. I have tried to uninstall the game completely, reset my whole xbox, and reach out to EA. EA is adamant it's an Xbox problem but it's their game. I'm wondering has anyone figured out a solution to this? I can't be the only one.

I used to have it on an external hard drive. I have since formatted both internal and external and downloaded game into internal hard drive. EA said, "Tanya (9/27/2022, 3:21:04 PM): I have checked the details the issue that you are facing is something which we're already aware of. We're receiving similar reports from other players around the globe.

(9/27/2022, 3:21:55 PM): okay thank you

That's odd because this seems to be an in-game issue. I would like to ask, is the game stored on your External hard drive?

A corrupted hard drive may cause theses issues as well.
