Hey Xbox Gamer,

Sorry to hear about your Madden, let's try to get you back online. As it is happening for both versions of Madden, it sounds like it could be an issue connecting with EA servers. Please test your connection by going to Settings>Network> Network Settings>Test
Multiplayer Connection depending on what result you get follow the troubleshooting on our Xbox One Connection page.

We sorry about you are experiencing this unwanted issue, some other users as you are having this crashing of a game.

Meanwhile this became fixed we recomend you to fully quit the game before open other games or apps, the following link will show you how.
