Mad Catz Fightstick TE2 triggers not working

I just tried playing Super Street Fighter 4 - Arcade Edition on my PC using
Mad Catz Killer Instinct Arcade FightStick™ Tournament Edition 2 for Xbox One.

The problem is that the buttons substituting the triggers will not work, they don't register a thing. I checked the input calibration in windows as well, and they will not register anything there either. I'm using Windows 7. Mad Catz say it's a driver issue
in the hands of Microsoft, so I'm wondering if we can see a fix to this sometime soon?

If anyone else have found a solution to this problem, please tell!

Why on earth would you want to lug around your fight stick

It's not like you could take it to a friends or to the arcade because let's be honest fight sticks are massive these days(well the decent ones)

Just to clarify, have you been able to use a Xbox One controller with your PC? The Mad Catz Fightstick is made to be compatible with an Xbox One console and it is possible that it's functionality between PC may not work. I recommend posting on our Xbox
Feedback page so that your suggestions can get to the right place.

 

No, I haven't tried a regular xbox one controller because I don't own one yet. However, I've read about others having the same issue where only the buttons substituting the triggers will not work on PC. I will make a post where you suggested though. Thanks!

 

The regular xbox one controller works, even the trigger buttons but the Mad Catz Fight Stick triggers do not.

I dont really understand why the game pad works and the fight stick doesn't, there both technically the same controller with the same buttons except one that fits in your palm and the other is 4 times the size and sits on your table.

They both work on the xbox one, so with the controller drivers installed under windows it should be the same.

Hope this gets resolved.

 

One vital difference between the controllers is that the triggers are analog on the controller and digital on the fightstick. I guess the PC drivers can't handle the nongradual progression from 0 to 1 when using the stick.

 

I really hope this gets fixed ASAP with SSF4AE coming shortly for PC. I was shocked, amazed, then frustrated when I realized the triggers don't work.

I know. *** me off. Glad I still have my hrap-ex and ex2(for player 2). This needs to be fixed like yesterday. Always annoys me when the people who spend the most money just to play a handfull of games get ***. Hopefully when the august update rolls out
there is a new driver of firmware update for the stick

 

Another bump for this. I would love to be able to use the RT and LT on my Madcatz TE 2 on my PC. Kinda bummed I'm missing two buttons when I play my PC fighters. C'mon Microsoft...you guys can do this.

 

So far injustice is only game that can play fine with just 4 buttons.

 

as far as I know, you can easily swap the buttons on TE2. so you can play fighters with 6 buttons.

just exchange the buttons and wires.

I'm still hoping a fix.
