    Machine has many problems


    Since the day I opened this xbox one it has done nothing but freeze. I can not believe microsoft can put something like this on the market. I am returning my xbox tomorrow. Also, I bought Madden 15 via the xbox game store. I need a full refund for that
    game as well, the game freezes every single time I play. How do I go about getting a refund for this horrible product? I had a Nintendo in 1988 that worked like a charm, no loading, no freezing, no
    [Mod Removed]. This is a joke.

    Keeping disc in Xbox One

    I only have one game on disc and that has been in the machine since day one with no problems.

    Scratched disks

    I have just over 100 games for my xbox and after adding them up i only bought 11 of them new.

    I have used the disc cleaning machines many,many times with no problems,and they have always fixed any faulty discs.

    "troubleshoot" to no avail.

    This I find is becoming common in the video game world, its not just MS even companies like Rockstar (GTA Online is broken) try and push the blame to consumers.

    Thanks for the reply. I am doing this right now, but I think I realized the problem is with the machine not staying in "instant on" mode. I am many times seeing the xbox loading logo and my gamerpic with "Hi Jason" upon start up. I think this means the machine
    has not stayed in instant on mode, making resume games quickly not work either. It just happened now.

    I had exactly the same problem on a Windows 10 machine, but your workaround did the trick. It's curious why the game won't start from the Solitaire Collection, but will do from Microsoft Store. Many, many thanks!

    Most likely yes. Many Many rumours of heat problems, indeed even underclocking the machine to cool it. The best way to cool the XBoner is to remove this element and put it in a power brick the size of a small PC. Sad but not a deal breaker really, not like
    the other stuff.
