    Mac Filter/Wireless Security


    Hey guys I've had my xbox one X for a while now and all of a sudden the wireless connection won't work. It was working completely fine a couple of nights ago then just poof it stopped working, and just tells some non-sense about mac filtering or wireless
    security. How can these setting change when the other xbox in the other room works fine and so does my PC.

    Hi what is the make/model of router and what wireless security is it using? WEP/WPA/WPA2? If you have a wireless mac address filter on the router yes you will need to enter the Xbox mac address to the filter

    Wireless network connection no longer works on 360 Slim

    If that ^ doesn't solve it can you turn off WPA and any wireless mac address list/filter on the 655 (just as a test) and try to connect without any wireless security

    As a test can you please turn off all wireless security, wireless mac address list/filters and see if you can connect with no security enabled (just as a test)

    Are you using WEP, WPA, or WPA2 security? Can you turn off any wireless security ( as a test ) and any wireless mac address filtering (Wireless Card Access List.) and try to connect

    Is your Wireless secured with a password??? If so check your password. Also check your router to see if you are using MAC filtering, if so it will not work until you put the Wireless MAC address into the filter. A big difference between the XBox One and
    the XBox 360 is the 360 only using one MAC address for both Wireless and Wired, yet the XBox One use 2, one for each.

    Please turn off (as a test) WPA2 security and any wireless mac address list/filters and see if you can connect
