    Hi I live in a shared house and do not have access to the admin log in to the router to add my mac code for my xbox one to ‘allowed’ and i have tried to contact my landlord to help. But looks like im just going to have to make do without internet on my
    xbox. Is there a way i can get a new mac code or any suggestions on what can be done? Thanks for your help Mac Code :)

    Reset the router to factory settings then the user name and password will be on the bottom. then just deny all knowledge

    Hello Chelsea,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Without access to the router to input the address to allow it, even a new one you will have the same outcome. You can try clearing the alt mac address. Go to settings>network>network settings>adv. settings>alt
    mac address>clear and restart. If you have hotspot on your phone can try that until you get ahold of the landlord also.

    could you please try clearing your alternate mac address.

    go to network settings-advanced settings-alternate mac-clear. (your Xbox will restart)

    are you getting any error codes?
