MAC Address

Hello!

Can you clarify on the issue you're experiencing?

My xbox one wifi password is not working and i can’t creat a new gamertag can you help me

It keeps saying "Can't connect. Check your network name and password and try again." I have the password right but it still won't let me connect.

Sorry for the issue you are having with your Mac address. Are you wired or wireless connection? Have you tried rebooting your network hardware? Internet service providers usually do monthly updates just like Microsoft. These updates sometimes don't reboot
the router and cause issues. Personally I reboot my router 1 time a week usually Sunday evening.

1. Use a PC or similar device to find your router's IP address (often listed as "Default Gateway"). Depending on your PC/device's operating system, this is done differently.

   • Note: If you do not have access to any of the listed devices, skip to step 2 and instead try the default IP address of your router. Refer to your router manufacturer for this information if needed.
2. Type the router's IP address into your Internet browser's address bar and press "Enter."
   
3. If prompted, enter your router's username and password to login.

After you log on to your router. There are a lot of different routers so just use this basic info to find it on yours

   • This is most often found within a router's "Wireless" or "Wireless Security" options.
     
   • Depending on your router, MAC Filtering may also may be referred to as "MAC Address Control,"" Address Reservation," or "Wireless MAC Authentication."
3. If MAC Filtering is on or enabled, you will need to add your Nintendo system's MAC Address to the list of allowed devices and save or apply this change. If you do not wish to have MAC Filtering on for your network, simply turn it off or disable it.*
