One cause of that is a failing hard drive, but obviously I can't say if that's what's causing your particular issue.

As annoying as it is, 10 years is not a bad lifespan for a physical HDD.

Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps, and the last resort will be getting the console repaired. Even if it's out-of-warranty you can still get it repaired through Microsoft.
