M&M: Clash of Heroes > Damaged save file

Hello,

i can't start Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes on my xbox one. I always get the following error message: "The save file appears to be damaged and cannot be loaded".

I already deinstalled the game and deleted the corrupted file (everywhere) but i still get the same error message. It seems like it's still saved in the cloud or so, dunno.

Would be nice if someone could help me with this issue. Thanks!^^

Did you every get this figured out? The same thing recently happened to me and XBOX support wasn't able to fix it.

 

Sadly no. I just hope they are aware of the problem and already working on a way to solve the issue.

So I was trying to get this exact issue sorted out and after doing multiple steps, I signed onto a different Gamertag that I had on my console and that got me able to play the game. I tried removing the profile and then clearing the persistent storage in
the disc and blueray settings under blueray . Then also restarted the console by clearing the Alternate MAC address. then I cleared local game saves from the storage section under your system settings. Then recovered my profile and none of that worked. But
as soon as I got on with my sons profile I was able to resume my RPG Puzzling fun. Good luck and farewell.

 

I am also getting this error. No matter what I try (deleting profiles, installing or uninstalling the game etc) I cannot play on my profile. I can however start a new game on a different profile and that works perfectly. Anyone found a fix for this?

 

Hi, also had this issue. Is an issue with the cloud save game. For some reason and let me know if there is a way to do it, xbox one does not give you access to cloud storage hard drive. I got old my old xbox 360, logged into to xbox live and went to settings.
storage and accessed the cloud storage for might and magic. was a 40k size file and deleted it. Logged out back in with xbox one. It stated it couldnt find save file and created a new one and now it works. so unless someone knows how to access cloud storage
on xbox one this is the only solution Ive found.
