M.2 Solid State Drive and enclosure hooked up to the Xbox 360

Is it possible to format a M.2 SSD as FAT32 on the Xbox 360? If so, I would like to try it myself. I'll get the full bandwidth (USB 2.0), despite a bigger loss of speed. M.2 solid state drives seem pretty cool, though. Since I saw the YouTube video of this
gamer who had a M.2 SSD already formatted to meet Xbox console specs, the speed was blazingly fast.

    :)

Putting a SSD inside a fat Xbox 360 hard drive enclosure

I was wondering, can anyone put a SSD inside a fat, Xbox 360 HDD enclosure (no hacking), without violating the Terms of Service? Because of the recent 2015 update, gamers would hook up a 2TB storage drive to any Xbox console. I was also wondering,
can people either connect a USB 3.0 flash drive or a M.2 SSD to a Xbox 360 console as storage?

    Xbox 1 Raid support?

You might not be able to raid multiple drives hooked up over USB, but they make hard drive enclosures with Raid that hook up over USB that would work.

Xbox One - migrate external drive contents to a larger drive?

Thanks for all the response so far. I only wish to retain one external drive attached the console - the old drive will be repurposed.

I knew you could transfer from internal drive to external from the Xbox menus - didn't realize it would allow external to external drives as well; if so that's perfect.

The main limitation I have now is I only have one USB external drive enclosure, and I have 2 standalone 2.5" SATA drives - so hooking them both up at the same time to the Xbox is currently not an option. My idea would have been connect the existing and
new drives to a PC to migrate the data; and then put the new drive in the USB enclosure.

I do have an older WD Passport USB drive. I suppose I could copy 500GB to Passport via the Xbox. Then swap 1TB drive into the USB enclosure and copy Passport to 1TB via the Xbox.

Would a new console running 360 games reduce load times?

That's cause Xbox 360 has HDD not Solid State Hard Drive. It's probably a 5400rpm HDD found in many places including laptops. Solid State Hard Drives are faster, have no moving parts, and consume less power, but are too expensive. Even a 250GB Solid State
Hard Drive would be quite expensive if one is included in the next generation of xbox console. Nintendo has a solid state hard drive in it's Nintendo U or it's 8th gen console. Microsoft might go for a solid state hard drive for the Xbox Dashboard and regular
HDD as the main source, in its next console. An awesome processor isn't enough. The storage device needs to be good too. HP uses this method in some of its home laptop PC's, like a 32GB SSD and 500 HDD the SSD in such case used to make the computer and OS
    start up lightning fast.

Xbox one and Xbox elite same harddrive or not?

    Hi

The Xbox One contains a conventional hard drive and the Xbox One Elite contains something known as a solid state hybrid drive this **** that the hard drive in the Elite is a conventional drive but it also has small amount of solid state memory that the console
uses to help speed thing up a little compared the regular hard drive.

Might be faster to just redownload overnight at that point and less hassle

WD My Book seems lacking in performance

Played some Gears of War 2 on it, and unfortunately it seems like the lag is still there. I'm just going to chalk this up to the fact that I'm running a game through a cable instead of the internal hard drive, and deal with it. Maybe i'll try either an SSD
hooked up to a drive enclosure/dock or a different 7200rpm drive and see what happens, as I have both laying around for me to try. If i do either, I'll update here
