Lying to the customer

Discus and support Lying to the customer in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have not been lied to by a company like this in a long time and I did not expect it from a company with the reputation of Microsoft.     Lying to the customer


    I have not been lied to by a company like this in a long time and I did not expect it from a company with the reputation of Microsoft.

    My X Box One (That I purchased new at a game stop) over heated and stopped working. I contacted microsoft and they instructed me to send it in for repairs. I followed all of the instructions and shipped it off.

    The X Box was returned to me with a letter stating that I had modified or tampered with my the device and it was not eligible for repair. The little tamper sticker on the back is now ripped half off.

    There is not a chance in **** that I would attempt to repair or tamper with modern electronics. I have no training or skill in this field. It's like giving a monkey a space shuttle and expecting him to fix it.

    It is clear to me that the sticker was ripped off when I sent to device in. This could have been done for a few reasons. It might of been a bad employee, or the company policy so people will buy a new device and they save on the cost of repair. I just
    don't know.

    What I do know is that the company is failing to honor their warranty, and that they tampered with the device to nullify the warranty. This is flat out dishonest and a shameful way to treat customers. I will continue to write and speak about this experience
    to anyone I can, so more people don't fall in to this situation.

    I can not recommend this or any Microsoft product at this time.

    Exact same situation im in, customer support also lying to me telling me to wait, its laughable
