Loyalty Promotions for Life-Long Customers

I recently contacted xbox support chat about my xbox one. I have the original day one edition and want to upgrade to the one x. (because of all the software slow downs and issues with the original hardware on my xbox one) The guy i talked to in chat said
that "it would be stupid" to purchase one now with the holiday season right atound the corner because of the promotion they will have on them. He then told me to call the number he provided and ask about a loyalty promotion. (After he looked at my accpunt
and saw i have had the same account since the original Xbox) he said that they sometimes will do loyalty promotions for the life-long customers. I called and it was very unclear what they were telling me. I got no answer. Ridiculous! You would think the thousands
of dollars i spent over the last 15 years or so would help me get an early promotion that they are going to have in a month anyways !?!?! This is why people are constantly switching to the ps4! All my friends have already! I contacted sony aand they already
sent a promotional offer to switch !?!?! (Because my friend told me to, thats what he did) and its amazing! I just love XBOX. Its hard to see that a customer for years gets treated so poorly and another company offering me a promotion to switch i have spent
no money at! It might be time to switch everybody

20000 customers got choosen for shares 18000 were chosen for loyalty to game the last 2000 were chosen if they purchased something with in a specifc date

I think xbox has grown wise enough that now it does not need its customers loyalty.

More than likely it was locked by mistake so they unlocked your discussion.

We do go over a lot of forums posts and accidents do happen.

If they gave you number for loyalty promotions try it again. Also you can create and idea at
Xbox ideas to reward loyal customers that have been around a long time. I know I am one that been with Xbox since the beginning and would be nice.

To be honest, it would be nice to have loyalty offers, however it's not a must or an acquired right.

 

Wasn’t it when the 360 launched they gave Live members a special credit card that had a ton of bonus features on it? I could have sworn I got one.

 

I agree with you, the only reason i called is because the chat person suggested it. Then to get treated like
[Mod Removed – Profanity].. I almost bought the ps4 pro today! Many of my friends switched over years ago. I am a die hard xbox fan but getting treated better with a competing company without ever supporting them! That speaks
to me in sense they care more about their customers. Microsoft could care less about me and I've been a supporter since 2001............

 

I have been a mamber of both communities , the Xbox community and support are way better. Not jnocking PS they have some great features as well , happy gaming in what ever you decide

 

If anyone is thinking to switching to the PS4...all you have to do is email them and explain your unhappy with xbox services and they will give you a promotion to switch over directly from their store ! My 13 years with Microsoft Xbox means nothing to them.
