    Loyal customers being left out of promotions


    Today i received a email stating that gamers would receive 5000 reward credits with the purchase of select season passes for games, one of which was Battlefield 4 premium. I purchased my premium service less than a week ago and after contact two support
    representatives (which both offered nothing in terms of support other then to plead my case here on the forums) it would seem that purchasing the passes before today's date would exclude me from said rewards.

    This is awful customer service and reminiscent of the early days of cell phone companies that tried to attract new customers with promotions while leaving their loyal ones in the dark.

    I'm a day one console gamer that has preached about the xboxone and how great it is, i even picked up several games and got a couple of friends to do the same. I got *** on the "referral reward points" (have a friend sign up for xblive for 12 months for reward-
    *which i got two friends off their ps3's and onto xbox's) and now it would seem like i'm losing out on these reward points as well.

    Not only that…but it's even more disheartening to see new bundles for Titanfall being released with a free copy of the game, while gamers like myself who jumped on board since day one, get nothing but a simple achievement for doing so.

    Customer service was part of my decision to switch to ps3 last generation after miscrosoft dropped the ball on me several times. It's not looking good this time around either. I'll be getting Titanfall because it's a great game, but i'll be happily switching
    to a ps4 for the rest of my gaming if this trend of customer treatment continues.

    I've been gaming for over 25 years and don't plan to stop anytime soon, i hope the xbox team can start to treat their loyal players better or my next 25 years of gaming will be done elsewhere...

    Free Xbox One Criteria?

    Anybody claiming this topic is "self-entitlement" doesn't understand what that statement means nor are they bright enough to use it in conversation. So, kiss off trolls.

    If you send out a prize to "loyal customers" and don't reward your most loyal customers over other customers, it's not "self-entitlement" when people get upset.

    I'm sorry to hear that you feel left out by the release of this new bundle, however this is a technical support forum. You'll want to post this in the Feedback/Wishlist forum. I must say, that it continues to surprise me how many early adopters of a product
    feel slighted when the company attempts to drum up additional sales by creating some promotion or another. In the case of the this situation, you were aware of the perks of pre-ordering when you decided whether or not to purchase a Day One Edition. Given how
    many console bundles were released in the previous generation of consoles, it's hardly a surprise that there is one for the Xbox One. We, as consumers, cannot expect that whenever a company creates a new promotion, we should be compensated by the promotion
    as if we'd just made our purchase via the promotion rather than being an early adopter.
