    Lower half of screen flickering only when in game


    For whatever reason, my Xbox One X started acting up. When I'm in the home screen, everything seems fine. As soon as I choose a game and put the disc in, the lower half of the screen constantly flickers. I've had no issues for the past 4 years or so and
    it suddenly started yesterday. No changes to settings were made or anything. I can't seem to find a similar issue when I search Google or YouTube. Anyone experienced this issue? I have tried a hard reset where I hold the on/off button until it shuts off,
    unplug the power source for 30 secs, and re-plug everything back up, only to not fix anything.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    It is all good now. I have my tv mounted on the wall and my wireless HDMI next to my cable box and my Xbox. There are no wires showing and it looks great and works very good. Thanks again for the help.

    Thank you for the help it is working great now. I went into the Xbox settings and changed it from 1080P to 1080i and it worked. The screen is very clear and I am able to see the full screen

    Hi ibtattedian,

    I assume as you're using wireless HDMI you have a sender and receiver. Do you still get the issue you're having if you power off the sender and receiver and then turn the sender on first and the receiver second?

    A display settings reset may also help, power the console on using the guide button on a controller, as the console powers up press and hold Y and the right trigger on the controller.

    Let us know how things work out please, I'd never heard of wireless HDMI until I read this post but found some info on the interweb that says most display issues can be resolved by powering off the sender and receiver and powering them on in the order I
    mentioned above.

    Do you have any other wireless devices connected to your console or within the near vicinity, it could be that something is using the same frequency and causing signal loss or interference.

    It could also be a setting on the TV, have you checked on the manufacturers forums for posts from people who may have had the same issue maybe.
