    grainy/low-resolution picture

My brand new XBOX 360 S 4Gb seems to be having some display trouble. I have it hooked up to a HD monitor (ASUS VW246H)
via HDMI and the picture seems somewhat pixelated, like it's displaying at a lower resolution than it should, both on the dashboard and in games. It's currently set to 1080p. Setting it to different resolutions offered no improvement, switching HDMI
cables didn't change anything either. I connected it to my HDTV with both cables and it looks exactly the same. I connected my PS3 to this monitor with both cables and each time the display was perfectly clear like it should be. My PC also displays perfectly
on this monitor over DVI. The monitor supports HDCP and all that business, the only missing number in this equation is the XBOX. Is something wrong with it, or is it normal for the picture to look slightly pixelated?

Hm, if everything is working fine on other devices then it's quite possible it's something to do with the Xbox 360. Do you have any other display you can test this out on to see if there is any sort of incompatibility with this specific display (though there
really shouldn't be since that seems to be the same model monitor I have but the 25 inch version of it).

If that doesn't work either and it's just the console having this issue, it would mean you would need to get it exchanged / repaired. If it's been less than 30 days since you purchased it, I highly suggest changing out and see if this continues. If it's been
more than 30 days then you'd need to send it into Microsoft for a repair.

    You can do that here.

    Xbox screen extremely dim

Have you tried booting into low resolution mode? Maybe something was changed and is ot compatible with the change setting. Low resolution mode basically reset your display settings to the lowest settings. To do this you press and hold the Xbox button and
the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. Note This will boot your console in a low resolution mode.

    Minecraft Xbox 360 Texture Packs

I suspect, however, that they will be at the same resolution as the current game (i.e., 16x16). The great thing about the PC version is that you can have high quality texture packs. That may not be possible on the Xbox version. So you would probably be
exchange one low resolution texture with another low resolution texture.

    Crackdown 2 low resolution

I believe that they just put out Crackdown 2 as thank you for the fans for free while they were updating Crackdown 3.

    Crackdown 2 low resolution

The main reason is because it takes a lot more work to make these old games enhanced for the One X hardware. It's not as simple as you might think.

Also, the BC work is done by a specialist team from Microsoft, they don't have any help from the developer. it's this small Microsoft team that made 360 and a few select original games BC for the Xbox One.

As for more enhanced games? Probably not. The team are now working exclusively on BC for Scarlett now.

    Hey there

Thanks for reaching out too the forums. Its down too the game dev and in this case Microsoft has the publisher if they want too make a game Xbox one X. There isn't a set tick of boxes that would meet making it. Its different for every game out there there
unfortunately not going too come out and say its because X because that not how these things work. For now Crackdown 2 X enchained may that will change maybe it wont but no one can say has we all know the same info has you has that all that is said.

I would say if you have a 4k TV that can upscale then that will upscale to 4k. But of course it inst going too be the same. Its also just down too personal option i sure there is millions that agree with you. I also sure there is millions that don't agree.
There isn't a right or wrong or a yes this will be upscaled for the X. Its just how it is and how people want too take that.
