Low FPS when playing most all games, Xbox One S and Xbox One.

Around a month ago my Xbox One started to have serious issues with stuttering and low FPS, after trying every thing imaginable I bought a new Xbox One S (1TB if that matters). To no avail except it kind of fixed the stuttering I still have bad but it's not
a the primary issue. I have tried it with two TVs with no difference. I uninstalled Fallout 4 and reinstalled, it no matter where I am it acts very lethargic, slow and it will some times stop for a second or two. I don't know if it's a settings issue or what.

• Have you tried playing other games and check if the same thing occurs?
• Have you made any changes to your device or your network hardware before encountering this issue?

In the meantime, we recommend clearing the console's alternate MAC address and persistent storage. Here are the steps:

Solution 1: Clear MAC Address

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the Guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select Network.
5. Select Network settings.
6. Select Advanced settings.
7. Select Alternate MAC address.
8. Select Clear.

Solution 2: Clear Persistent Storage

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the Guide.
   
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select Disc & Blu-Ray.
5. In the Blu-Ray section, select Persistent Storage.
6. Select Clear persistent storage.

Well I request help since you play in a game of Gears of War 4 in the game that I happen to lose a lot of FPS and much more annoying to ask other players and the same problem solves the problem (it is neither my TV nor my Internet) I await your response

Odd that you're experiencing this trouble on both the original Xbox One and Xbox One S. To check, do you have your Xbox One plugged directly into a wall outlet or are you using a power strip? Power strips aren't supported and can sometimes cause performance
issues.

 

Hello! I fixed the problem, I cleared the blu-ray persistent storage, cleared the alternative MAC address and reformatted my external hard drive which fixed the problem 100%.

 

That did not work for me either
