Low CPU usage on Game Pass games

May i know if you tried to do a clean boot in your PC to see if the problem persists?

If the issue persist, may i know if you tried to use the high performance profile by default for the game pass games?

For this, go to windows settings > system > display > graphics
Once there click on the browse button > the click on the recently added app > options

I managed to identify the root cause for the issue, something was messed up when installing the latest Geforce driver, a clean reinstall was enough to fix it. Thanks again.

Not played GTA V on my PC for ages, but I do know it has a lot (and I mean a lot) of graphics settings. You've already mentioned your RTX 3060Ti is connected to a 1080P display, but what are your graphics settings?

Are you running an unlocked frame rate, V-Synced or something else?

How are you measuring your hardware performance? The best (and most popular) way to measure CPU and GPU performance in-game is to use MSI Afterburner. What are you using?

If you've locked the frame rate to something like 60, then you won't get full GPU utilisation in-game. This is because you've only told graphics processor to render 60 frames. However, GPU usage can still spike up if other graphics settings are too high for the hardware.

I wouldn't worry about the GPU temperature. The RTX 3060 won't thermal throttle until it reaches at least 83c.

Hi, Thanx for the reply, i use the highest settings in game, with 4xmsaa, i use the geforce experience performance display and msi afterburner. While in both cases the gpu usage shown is the same but msi afterburner doesn't correctly show my cpu usage (usually at 4-5 percent). Also i do turn on vsync but since i use a 144hz monitor and have it turned on in the settings should mean the fps cap should be 144, while i get only about 40-70 ish, and this happens weather i turn vsync on or off
