Discus and support "low battery" notification has ceased in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I've had the console for several months now, and was initially receiving notifications.     I've had the console for several months now, and was initially receiving notifications. But the last month I've not had any. My controller will just shut down, and I'll get a "reconnect controller" notice. This happens with all kinds of batteries, regular,
    rechargables and now also a nyko battery pack.

    Anyone else? The only thing I can recall happening a month ago was initially plugging in the headset and removing it (which still always shows as plugged in). Aside from that, now changed.

    It should have stopped vibrating first. The vibration function will cease when the batteries are low

    It does.

    As long as notifications are turned on then it will tell you that your controller batteries are getting low.

    When you get that notification you have about 30 minutes of battery life left.

    Again: The vibration function will cease when the batteries are low. This should for now keep you from being surprised and ending up losing when the batteries die. Although its not an onscreen indicator, its still something until the new patch comes

    Elite controller not charging.

    Same issues here. I tried to plug in the braided Elite cable after receiving a low battery notification. A few minutes later I received another low battery notification while it was still plugged in! I swapped to the original plug and play USB cable with
    the power indicator LED and left it charging overnight (10+ hours, far more than is normally required). This morning it's still showing an orange LED, so I turned the Xbox One on and immediately received another low battery notification. I popped out the
    plug and play battery, placed it back in the controller, and it was showing a full battery.

    I love the design of the controller, but Microsoft had plenty of time to work out these bugs. Did they not think that by cheaping out and not including a plug and play battery that people wouldn't use their own? Also, with Instant set on the thumbstick
    curves, there is pretty bad stick drift. The QA/QC they did on these controllers is awful.
