Loving the new features on the June update here in Uk , one guide with fav channels and voice commands for changing channels , I can also pause live tv and rewind using xbox one media remote , on and off command also now powers our sky box on and off ,

They need to enable voice commands here now. Otherwise there really is no incentive for people here to buy a Kinect. It's a bad move on MS's part.

Brandie are you NZ too? Just temporarily change your locale under settings to Australia to try it out. Several others did the same early this year and it worked and since Xbox 1 is region free. He forgot External HDD support, and there's a Dashboard option
to display your real full name with anyone you want to. The Kinect still works with game/party chat and scans QR codes with absolute ease. And its fun with Zoo Tycoon and Kinect Sports Rivals.

 

I could change my location to the UK, but I'm too stubborn and don't think I should have to do that if I don't live there.

Im also loving the June update, didnt think I would use the HDMI in feature much, but now I think its the "D's B's".

Only slight niggle is that the voice recognition has a bit of a problem with the way I pronounce Dave (for the channel Dave) I really have to pronounce it more like Dayyyve. No hardship though, and to be honest it seems to be getting better with that and
E4 (some reason the first time I said E4 it took me to BBC 4, but again its getting better)

 

I'm in NI so get UK TV, the recent update is amazing - all the TV functionality finally makes sense... I hope they do a OneGuide for the republic. It's just a case linking up all the teresstial channels to OneGuide with appropiate Voice commands, you'd think
it's inevitable that it's coming.

 

How old are you Irish boys , I'm 40 , up for adding u guys , always find the jock sense of humour pretty close to the Irish , if ur up for it

 

I'm a ripe 27... live on the north coast 6 miles off the Mull of Kintyre! Our accent even has a bit aw scottish to it.. Yea lad add me, my gaming hours are random but defo up for it.
