Loving Mad Max...

Just got it and it's a really fun open world game. Sure there's problems, lame ai, slow to build custom cars... Once you have them it opens wide up. Oh and yeah, the scrap markers are tedious, but rolling up on convoys maxed (no pun) has been happy fun.
Kinda sad (emotionally) campaign tho... I remember some not liking it here, is all good. I like it and the cars are laughably fun...anyone like it too?...

Mad Max - My Review

I loved Mad Max. I remember I bought both Mad Max and MGSV when they released the same day, and after trying both I spent more time with Max.

I loved the graphics and I loved upgrading my car into a death machine with all the options. Combat felt great and gritty, it felt so good landing that drop kick on that one annoying shiv wielding guy. I still have not finished it, but I intend on returning.

Great game, I loved it. Its repetitive but still fun for some reason.. One of my faves from 2015!

 

Yeah it became tediously repetitive, especially the bosses. I think I just loved the death runs, convoys, and customization for archangels...tho buzzards were a lil creepy...anyway, a fun game to play for a discounted price. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Without
the cars it would be meh...

 

Great game.

The "mini bosses" were a let down though as you approach them all the same pretty much,they just have a different weakness but that was the only complaint I had about the game.

As Genchy said,it should get repetitive but for some reason it doesn't,even collecting all the scrap.

Still remember thinking "uh oh"(it was more sweary than that) when seeing my first massive sand storm approaching.

 

I did like the way it captured the Mad Max "spirit" being a fan of the films, (the last one not so much!)

 

Yeah,it's kind of a blend of the older films & the latest one even though the game is set after the latest one (I think)

It's what was Mordor in 2014....Great game which capture the franchise essence.

 

For some reason, I stopped playing after a few hours.

 

I gave this a pass because I thought the newest movie was one of the worst films I've seen in the last 15 years or so.

 

It's worth a go Brand,think the only thing it has to do with that movie is that the main baddie is the brother of the baddie in the film,which has no effect on gameplay,story etc.

One for the summer drought maybe?

 

Yea I agree with Badger, knowing the games you play and enjoy Brand I reckon you would have a good romp, only thing might go against it for you is its not particularly difficult and you tend to enjoy a challenge gaming wise.

 

Great game, i enjoy the game mechanics enough to like it even though i have never watched a Mad Max film.

Definitely hours worth of fun to be had in the game collecting scrap, upgrading your car, taking down camps etc.
