I'll still get the console, but I'm definitely saddened by the news. I can't instantly share my games with friends anymore & I won't be able to switch games instantly because the disc will be required. On top of that, games will still be stolen or broken
& as a result will become unplayable, & cheating through modded consoles & games will still happen as well as piracy for most games (since DRM will be selective). I hope you guys all enjoyed your time with your torches and pitchforks... You've burned progress
to the ground along with the windmill... You monsters. :'(

Many gamers felt that they should be able to share, sell, trade or gift their games to whomever they wanted, whenever they wanted, as many times as they wanted, without restriction. They saw that ability as part of the value of a game disc. If you take that
value away, you are quite literally getting less for the same price.

You didn't get 'effed' at all. You are still getting exactly the same product. Can you tell me, specifically, what is different about it? Has it simply lost some of its fancy DRM Cloud magic? It is still capable of all of the exact same things as it was

This is the most accurate thing you said. They could have given the option, yet Microsoft chose not to. There is absolutely zero reason why they couldn't have done family sharing with digital content. None. Zero. Nadda. This
is about spite. "You made us change, so we're going to take away the goody we were offering." That and they will probably try and pull it out at a later date to see if the next group of gamers are willing to trade it for their ownership rights.

I'm waiting for my artist friend to get back to me so I can convert it to a picture book. D: Tis a slow process.
