Loud noise coming from console when turned on

I need some help with my Xbox One S console. As soon as I turn it on a loud buzzing noise starts to happen, it sound like it is coming from the van but I might be wrong. The console is only just over 6 months old and has always been in well ventilated rooms
and on top of a desk with nothing blocking the fan. The noise was present when I brought it but it was much quieter, and as I had nothing to compare it to I thought it was just the noise it made when on but now it has gotten louder.

I've looked online and it mentions people having a similar problem back when it was launched and I think mine has the same problem.

What can I do about getting it repaired as it is still under the warrantee?

I contacted the place where I brought it from and they said I needed to get in touch with Microsoft directly.

Xbox one buzzing noise

Is the noise coming from the console itself? If so, it sounds like the noise you're hearing is probably coming from your disc drive. I can hear the disc spinning in my console, but it shouldn't be too loud. If it's really loud, you may need to have your
console repaired. You can start that process at

There is a loud and irritating noise coming from the console, I think something is wrong with the fan

the positioning of your console to make sure that it is on a stable surface as this can affect the amount of noise the console makes, If this does not help you will be able to arrange to get your console serviced by

My xbox one s makes a loud loud noise when start up it stops for about 30 sec and then comes back I try to turn it off but when the xbox is off it is louder than when it was on and now i cant use it for now sometimes i turn it on and it doesn’t make the
noise but if i turn it off then again in 1hour or 2 then it does it again.

Thank you for your reply I will keep an eye on it and see if it resolves itself. There is also a loud noise sort of like a loud deep vibration coming from the console is this normal?

They are generally silent while running.

Make sure the console is on a flat surface, not leaning to the side

Make sure it is not stood on it's end (Xbox Ones are made to lay horizontal)

Does the buzzing only happen when you have a DVD/BluRay in the disc drive, does the noise happen when just sat on the main screen or only when playing games (digital download or disc) or is it all the time?
