    Loud humming and buzzing from 360 slim.


    Hey everyone. My 360 slim is making a loud humming and buzzing noise when I play games like GTA V, Destiny and FIFA 15 (possibly more, I have not tried Skyrim yet). It's really annoying and I am wondering if there is a way to solve this and is it damaging
    my console or my discs?

    It's irritating as hell haha. HELP PLEASE!

    Loud Noise while installing Games

    I just bought mine last night and its doing the same thing. Loud buzzing or humming type noise only while installing a game. Not like a fan or something is hitting something. It's a consistant hum/buzz but it is quite loud

    My 360 is loud, the XB1 is not. A gentle hum...

    Loud humming and buzzing from 360 slim.

    It's your DVD drive spinning up to full gear. It's normal. Install your games to solve your problem. Spinning at that speed for too long is bad for your drive and your disc...

    Mine makes a fan noise which could be described as buzzing but I have to go quite close to it to hear it.

    The console itself is far louder.

    Or are you referring to an electrical hum?

    If you can hear a loud electrical hum then it's probably faulty.
