    dvd drive on slim loud?

    Hi I have the new Xbox 360 S console recently purchased about a month ago and my Xbox 360's DVD drive gets very loud only on certain games. The Forza 4 disc and Halo 3 Platinum Hits disk makes the disk drive very loud, but when I put in Halo 4 it's a normal
    volume. When it gets really loud it almost sounds like it's vibrating a lot. I even installed Forza 4 to the hard drive and when I first start it up it's still pretty loud. It only subsides after briefly playing. Is this normal for certain games to make
    the disk drive spin louder or is something wrong with my disk drive? Or maybe my disks are scratched?

    Buying used Xbox one

    Oh yeah make sure to test out the disk drive before you buy it. Some of the launch xbox ones (including mines) had issue with the disc drive no reading and making a loud buzzing noise.

    If you have issues with your disc drive (and that happens with every disc you use) you can send your console for repairs:

    No, its coming from the DVD Drive, the fan is on the right, the sound is dead center were the drive is. and it goes alot louder than when a disk is in it, i mean like 3x as loud.

    For all i know its not the disk drive inside but all i know is at random points a loud medium pitch tap sound comes from it when its on, and then even does it a minute or two after i have turned it off... If it was a faulty disk drive i'm pretty sure it
    doesn't do a singular tap, but a ticking noise...

    I have sent my xbox in for repair. I got sick of the crashing back to the desktop, the loud disk drive that got louder as time went by. When I get it back it better work, or Im going to PS4.
