Loud Clicking Noise

I had purchased an Xbox One Sprig Bundle the other day and I have been happy with it, until I noticed that the console started to make this rattle/clicking noise. It seems to have gotten louder over the last few days and it was loud enough to where I could
hear it over a Netflix video. I first noticed it while playing a game, so I figured it was just the hard drive. But whatever I do now, the clicking continues. It is a pretty annoying sound, which is why I am seeking help. It sounds like the fan is hitting
something consistently, kind of like a second ticker on an old clock. I tried to chat with a Microsoft rep, but the website wont let me enter my first and last name for some reason (I've tried on multiple browsers to no luck). I was looking forward to my new
experience with an Xbox One, but this noise puts me off from wanting to use the thing. What should I do?

Guys, clicking is an indication of a mechanical problem; could be the Blu-Ray, Hard Drive or Fan (not enough information to say which at the moment).

In any event, no amount of waiting on the phone is going to fix it, and it may be an indicator of a serious problem - take/send the unit back to where you bought it from and get a replacement. It might sound a bit drastic, cold or harsh to say so, but that
really is the best thing you can do now rather than delaying and having to do it later IMO.

Hey there! Ok so I'm so sorry this problem has occurred but one of the most common problems is the disc drive for that sound or the cooling fan and if it's any of these 2 problems try the Xbox system support number on the website! And since your console
is near new they won't have any problem most likely repairing it since it's within the year! I hope this helps so you can finally enjoy your xbox!

First, make sure your console is on a flat, level surface and well ventilated. There is a guide for optimal placement and ventilation that can be found
HERE.

If that doesn't work, we suggest you reach out to the
Warranty and Repair Center and begin the process for having your Xbox One Console serviced.

Hello! Ive experienced the same issue with my Xbox. I was lucky enough to still be under warranty and Microsoft sent me a new Xbox. All i had to do was send them my old broken one once i got the replacement. Unfortunately Microsoft never told me the issue
of loud clicking noise in my Xbox I was just told i would need to replace the console. Hope this helps. Good luck with everything!!
