Loud Buzzing From Xbox 360 Slim?

My Xbox 360 Slim is making a loud buzzing noise with and without a disc in it. If anyone knows how to fix this, or why it is happening please let me know.

It doesnt sound like one of the fans, it just sounds like a disc being read but it's much noisier than I at least remember, however I haven't played a disc based game on the system in probably over a year so I could be wrong. I'll try another game disc
and see if it could simply be something that occurs with Red Dead

Its most likely issue with one of the fans. Does it sound like its coming from the console itself or does it sound like its coming from the power brick, if your model of 360 has a power brick?

If its the console, try Gamestop or a local hobby electronics store (a trusted retailer) they can look at it or clean it up for you (because it could be dust.) If its the power brick, either one of the places above should have spare power bricks for sale.
Other than that there really isn't much you can do because they don't offer servicing for the Xbox 360 anymore. I wouldn't recommend looking at it yourself (warranties and user agreements) but if you have to make sure you watch a tutorial on YouTube

I had this same issue with my 360 slim when I would play Skyrim. It was only that game. It never had any adverse affect on the system, but I would definitely get some can air and blow out the console if it's been awhile.
