    Lots of issues right out of the box.


    I'm new to forums sense I have never had a issue with the 360 that I owned for 4 years until it finally stopped reading discs. So we upgraded to the One 5 days ago and here is a list of our problems hope someone can point us in the right direction or xbox
    having a fix on the way:

    1. I have a power on issue. When I first turn on the xbox to watch tv I either have to restart it due to losing TV signal or ( like today) I had to unplug it due to it being unresponsive after it initializes from sleep mode.

    2. It has a on screen glitch during game boot up or I will see it when the lobby is loading. The screen will blink!!

    3. During COD AW game play. Mostly, it seems, during split screen play online. The game will freeze displaying no video movement and the audio will have a solid tone. Then after a few seconds it will push back to the dashboard I will have restart the game.
    This happens alot!!! as in every other attempt to play online.

    4. Halo. Never logs into or finds a match while attempting matchmaking.

    5. It did take awhile to load games. All loaded successfully but took about three hours per game.

    I will leave it at that. I believe this is mostly a console software problem, I realize some of these could be a game or xbox live issue. After reading through forums it seems that many are having similar problems without a solid resolution. I have had
    this console for 5 days. This is unacceptable for the cost of this unit.

    Well I should have learned my lesson after the RRoD debacle of the 360 but we bought a xbox one. Christmas morning open the box with the kids...everyone is so excited...till we try and play a game. The gpu is busted. pixels glitching, games are unplayable.
    Ever have a screaming 8 yr old who cant play his new xbox? So I went online and found many are having this problem. You'd think tech support would have been working on a solution..but they acted like I was the first one who has experienced this. After
    an hour of online "help" support told me to call for a repair..REPAIR! its brand NEW!. 2 hour wait time...no music, its just static... Imagine having to listen to static for 2 hours, while kids are upset screaming for their big BROKEN present..OH MERRY FREAKIN
    XMAS!!!.

    I took it back to gamestop and bought a ps4. EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Funny how every single person with a problem has a silver account with 0 gamerscore, standard rep, etc. Oh look, they all mention they're going to PS4 as well. PS4 can't be that great, half the users are over here trolling rather than playing on their games
    console, or messing around on their own forums, lol.

    Hi BOOM, I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with your newly brought Xbox One. Let me start by saying the Halo matchmaking problem is a known issue and 343 are working on a fix. At this point in time they have limited the game modes available
    to combat the lengthy waiting times people are experiencing getting a multiplayer game going.

    The game install is unfortunately quite lengthy and is one of Phil Spencer's top priorities in getting sorted out, so fingers crossed he works his magic and we get game install times slashed soon.

    The rest of your issues would suggest you've been unfortunate and received a defective console. Are you able to take it back to the retailer you purchased it from and ask for an exchange? If not don't threat you are still quite comfortably in your warranty
    period and Microsoft will repair your console for free. To start the repair process please click the link below.

    First, Thanks for the quick response!! Second, I figured that would would me most of what I would get in response and that being the problem with Halo. I don't mean that in a bad way!! The more things are said the better for overall public satisfaction.
    I am not going to say this helped in anyway just yet until I have a solid resolution.

    The PS4 has just as many hardware problems. Hope you don't have a repeat experience on that though...

    In fact if you had gotten a PS4 there was a potential to just plain be bricked out of the box. You wouldn't even have been able to boot it up to see any pixel problems.
