Lost Xbox Store credit

I had an Xbox Store credit of $60 which expires today, 1/27/17. I tried to use the credit tonight before it expired, but the funds are no longer available. How do I make sure that I don't lose this credit?

Game ME3 preorders being cancelled.

More info coming in. Both Game Group stores have lost credit insurance so no companies will sell to them on credit due to the potential loss. Also More rumours that Ubisoft have also been considering pulling support too

Xbox live still down ...grrrrr

I think k Microsoft should refund the lost days of gold membership or better yet give us some store credit. Every time I've checked the website this week xbox live has been down. Especially the online gaming

next question, a credit card is stored to renew my 365 Office beginning of december, how can I disable the money transfer then?

if I would create another mircosoft account, are the purchases from my xbox lost?
