Lost xbox live gold deal from dashboard

So my Xbox live is going to run out today and I was going to buy a deal from the dashboard that Microsoft put there. When I tried to get the deal I put all my info in and then confirmed my purchase. After I confirmed it said I had to have xbox live to get
the deal, so I checked it out and my gold had expired right before I was going to get the offer. So I went to xbox contact and talked to an employee about it and he had said to turn off my xbox and turn it back on and try again. I did this and then the offer
was gone so I couldn't even see it anymore. Now I am waiting for an email back about the offer, he had told me I could still get it and he would work it out so I could.

Deals with Gold seems to not be up-to-date when you sign on to Xbox Live via the Xbox 360 console?

Where on the Xbox 360 dashboard are you looking to see the Deals with Gold advertisement?

I suggest, if you haven't already, navigating to the games section on the Xbox Live dashboard and clicking the
Browse Games tile. From within featured, there should be a
More with Gold tile which is where you should find up-to-date advertisements for both Games with Gold and Deals with Gold.
