    Lost sound and remote issues


    Lost sound using headphones with remote adapter Then remote froze. After rebooting would work for a few minutes then quit agai . System shut down on it's own. Had to reenter info like it was a new system. Lost all saved items. Lost extra gamer. What?

    Check if your controller firmware needs to be updated aswell as your console.

    For your console turning off on its own i would suggest you work through the steps in the link below.

    Xbox series x no sound

    I have the same issue - lost sound on TV time to time and today when the sound was gone I tried to play remotely on phone and there was no problem with sound. Then disconnected from remote and sound was back to TV.

    Try this ^^^ It works for me every time.

    I would try that, but I have the remote features disabled for purpose of power saving. I might give it a go, if I get desperate...which I'm almost to that point.
