    Lost Saved games


    Hi, my profiles keep corrupting and go missing. I re-download the profile, but the saved game info is lost. So, when I go to load a game save (in this case Lego Marvel), it can't find any saved games. Does the progress in a game not save with the profile
    so then return after I download the live profile? TIA

    tried that it shows 325 mb of data but the only option it gives is to delete all of it

    Hi MissMably

    I can imagine your children must be annoyed. With these situations whether it be a power trip or something else these things can happen were data gets lost.

    It's the same as, if you can imagine writing up an essay and then the PC shuts off but there was no chance to save the document the data is frustratingly lost.

    Occasionally depending on the game and the developer they have a cloud storage system that automatically saves the data as the game is played but from what I know of mine craft you save the worlds manually as you progress.

    If this issue continues to happen were the xbox system shuts off I recommend contacting xbox support. Also if there are any system error codes be sure to make note of them as providing them to support will help them source a potential problem.

    Lost Saved games

    If your profile and your saved games are disappearing off of your device, It could mean that your storage device is failing and needs to be replaced.

    If it has been deleted there is no way to recover it.

    Changing your name does not effect your saved games and all saved games and achievements should transfer over. I did hear if you used a save editor with that game it can delete all of your other saves otherwise I guess next time keep a backup on your U.S.B,
    P.S using save game editors in any game is against the rules or code of conduct so use at your own risk.

    Highlight the games under "games and apps" ....then press the menu button on the controller , go to "manage game" and it SHOULD be next to your profile....

    So I was playing a game of For Honor a few minutes ago until I got a message telling me an update needs to be downloaded for it, it was a 1.32GB download.. after it was finished I booted up the game to see that my entire game progress has been deleted
    because it shows me starting the game for the first time. I have restarted and signed out many times and nothing has worked, any help is appreciated.
    The exact same thing happened to me , does anyone know what's going on??
