Lost saved data? Can’t find a way to choose between new and old?

So for some reason I couldn’t play the doom (2016) single player campaign offline. I’ve contacted support and along the way I had to option of choosing an older or newer cloud save data sync, instinctually I pick the newer one, only to find the file with
my most progress is gone. I lost all of my upgrades, everything. I’ve removed my account and added it back in, Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice, nothing. Please someone help...

Lost my saved data

Starting a NEW game with the SAME character creates a completely new career, meaning you have to start from scratch, but your old career is still intact.

If you just want to replay the last mission choose LOAD GAME, then Y to SWITCH CAREERS, then choose the Shepard that has the created date you want, and finally choose to Restart Collector Station mission (which should be highlighted green).

Lost money after region switch

You wont be getting that money back.

What can’t move:

To find info about services, like TV providers, available in a specific region, visit the Xbox.com website for that region. (To find that other region’s website, click the name of your current region at the bottom of any Xbox.com page.)

Money in your Microsoft account.

We can’t transfer money between regions. Any money in your Microsoft account for your current region won’t be available in the new region.

If you have overwritten the data then you can not recover old progress. Data with the Cloud are synchronized with the most recent copy of the save. If you chose to use the save on Cloud (which you did not have) then the local data was synchronized with a
new game.

What you might have done is overwritten your old data by choosing the new one, if that is so there might not be a way to get it back, you could try starting a new game and seeing if that helps, but just be prepared that you might have lost that data for
good.

For whatever reason, after reinstalling my profile and launching Forza the synced data from the cloud was not correct. I lost all of my progress in the game (20+ million cr, lvl 110, lots of rare cars). Is there any way to obtain old cloud save data? I
know I have cloud saves as I switch between PC and Xbox. All gone now.

This moderator is clearly copying and pasting old data from the Xbox One days. This troubleshoot doesn’t work on Xbox Series X or S consoles.

“Cloud saved games” isn’t an option anymore.

I can’t find how to force a cloud sync. I can’t play Starfield on my other console in another room because the data won’t sync.

What’s the point of cloud saving if it doesn’t actually save???
