Lost Save Data

I was in the middle of playing Assassin's Creed Origins on my Xbox One S this afternoon when my power was shut off by electricians, unbeknownst to me. I moved my Xbox to a room with power to continue playing, but when I got it started back up it seemed to
have lost all of my save data. When I press play it only comes up with three "New Game" options instead of the "Continue Game" option that normally appears. In my "Manage Game" tab of the game it says I have 118.6 KB of data saved, do you think this means
that my game got wiped during the power cut? Or does anyone know how I can restore my game save progress?

If you still have the save on your old hard-drive then I recommend you move it back over again and see if that works because there may of just been a little problem when transfering them over.

I lost power in my home for literally one or two seconds tonight while playing AC Origins and the same thing has happened to me. I've googled relentlessly, reinstalled the game, power cycled, the whole nine yards. Miscorosft support chat told me "no worries"
and that it would correct itself... I'm not feeling particularly hopeful. 36 hours may not seem like a lot but if I lose this progress I'll probably never play the game again.

 

Right, they told me "no worries" the online save data will be a buffer to the local corruption. After 5 days I have yet to get my game back. I was on the verge of selling the game afterward but I just decided to start a new game. I am still not happy about
it.
