Lost Save Data

I had the same thing happen to me. Lost a few hours worth of play. I guess I need to hold off until there is a fix. That bums me out. I really enjoy the game.

If you still have the save on your old hard-drive then I recommend you move it back over again and see if that works because there may of just been a little problem when transfering them over.

 

LOST SAVE DATA?!

So....finally, I am able to log back into my account today and I go to play Mass Effect 3.....and literally half of my save data is gone. It was all on the cloud. Where...the...heck...did...it...go. I honestly...do not think I have ever been more ticked
off in my life. Literally half my time on that game, just poof gone. I am not one to typically post but this really got under my skin....is there ANY WAY AT ALL TO BRING IT BACK?! IT IS LIKE IT WAS NEVER THERE!!!!!!!

 

Happened to me too and I had to re-do the tree level! What was strange, was the skill points and orbs I earned in the later levels remained...

 

I contacted XBL game support last night. They had me clear some cache and then re-download my profile to see if it would force a it to re-sync with their servers. It didn't work. She said they we're going to send the issue directly to Moon Studios. I'm
not going to play anymore until this issue is resolved.

 

We experienced this problem too. Went from about halfway done to 4%....so ouch.

 

Same Issue here. I can't go beyond the tree - I've progressed about 60 minutes past the tree and I can't seem to get it to save my game.

The second time I went through I found more stuff that I missed, but that's no good if I can't keep it!

 

Same exact issue. I've lost hours and hours of play. Such ***!!! Any news on a fix? Ugh.

 

I don't want to continue until I know they have fixed the save issues. I've reverted so far back that all the accomplishments aren't appealing anymore. Sad...WAS a really good game.

Exact same thing happened to me twice. Tried contacting Microsoft support to get a refund since I have zero interest in playing a broken game. THey refuse to though cause they said it is an isolated incident. Looking around here and the internet, I'd
say not.

 

Hmmmm... really looking forward to playing this, but can't stand losing save game data. Hopefully this will be address and fixed soon.

 

Same issue here. First time it happened, I just replayed the 60-90 mins I lost. It happened again but not at the same spot, I slogged my way through again because the game is great. Just happened a third time! I was looking to see if this would happen,
so I know I started playing at 75% complete and saved and quit at like 83%. I am on another world without a major power up, the last one you get. I'm not gonna ride those wind tunnels again and bore myself to death knowing this could happen again. Ridiculous,
completely ruined a game that was my favorite in a while...

P.S. By the way, I now have achievements in the game that I couldn't have if I only mad it 75% because it would have autosaved several times since then before the most recent one. So obviously this is a broken game, no user error here.

 

So even if you manually save and quit it can go wrong? I'm defo going to delay buying till that's sorted, and hopefully they fix the instant resume as well, as that's a great feature, but you have to be able to trust it.

 

This sucks. I was at the last area in the game (I think). Today I turn it on and I'm at 5%.... Everything gone. My achievements are still there so I know it wasn't a dream. Too bad such an excellent game was *** by a horrible bug.
