    Lost save data forza 6 during console switch


    I was playing forza 6 when I decided to go to a friends house I recovered my gamer tag at my friends house and played the game just fine but when I returned home and attempted to play my game I discovered that I had lost all my progress ,cars,and money and
    basically have no save data BUT...the forza hub itself recognises my forza 6 achievements my cars my driver level and my miles driven how can I fix this ?

    Cannot join a club in Forza Horizon 4

    For whatever reason, after reinstalling my profile and launching Forza the synced data from the cloud was not correct. I lost all of my progress in the game (20+ million cr, lvl 110, lots of rare cars). Is there any way to obtain old cloud save data? I
    know I have cloud saves as I switch between PC and Xbox. All gone now.

    Hi,

    To get some clarification on this, when you got home and used your Xbox One, did you re-download your profile first before attempting to play Forza 6 and if so did you get any kind of error message? If so, what was it? Have you tried playing another game
    to see if you have saved data for that?

    Losing saved game data

    We've only had our Xbox for 6 days and in that time have already lost all saved game data for Lego Marvel (twice), Forza 6 and Terarria. Is this a common problem for the Xbox? I'm struggling to find any further info. We've also experienced a number of game
    crashes in that same time frame but the times of the crashes don't correlate with saved game data loss.

    Whats the cloud
    The cloud is where all games data automatically is saved. So incase you have to delete a game or if you switch to a new console you data wont be lost. And please someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it save data directly to the server.

    Hi Dimari,

    When you re-install the game or if you delete the local saved data, then the cloud data will sync to the Xbox the next time you start the game. However if the game is still loading with no saved data even after syncing from the Xbox Live cloud then the data
    was possibly corrupted and erased due to an improper save or crash of the game during a save point and there would be no way of recovering that lost data.

    You can perform a
    soft factory reset     and try syncing the data again from the cloud but if that doesn't help then you will need to contact Forza Support on their support page or forums site and see what they can do:
