Lost rewards. Due to not understanding the limitations of the xbox game pass.

I spoke via chat with Marjorie S about cancelling the xbox game pass. I as I stated in the chat below, I attempted to cancel it back when I first used the points to get it. I have been a member of Microsoft rewards for many years and the is how I saved
the points.

AgentChecking on your account here I an see that the Game pass subscription is not a monthly one. It was a 12 months code redeemed on the account last Aug 30, 2017. May we know if this is the right Game pass account?

MeThat is correct. It was obtained by accident. I thought it was for the xbox360. I tried to cancel it right away but was not allowed. I have never used it nor could.

AgentI have also checked the order history of the account and can see that the last charge on it was made last Jul 18, 2017 and there is no recent charge.

MeYes, I tried once before when I first used the points to get it back in August of last year, but I was unsuccessful.

MeIt was points I had earned though Microsoft Rewards. That I was able to build up over many years.

AgentI have checked our option here. For the game pass which was added last Aug 30, 2017, we can indeed cancel it though for the points which was used to get the 12 months subscription. I'm afraid that we do not have an option to give it back. Since on our
end, we can only see 0.00 USD value on the order history. Thus we are unable to give it back. Though we do have another option. This is to reach out with Xbox Live Rewards and check if they can give back the Microsoft points you have used to get the 23 months
subscription. What I can do here is provide the contact details of Xbox Live rewards, would this be alright?

Free Pass Help

I recently purchased 2 separate in game purchases for the game-Fortnite Battle Royale adding up to over £24. I did this solemnly to complete the 'free pass' mission on xbox live rewards. I have now clicked the (not easily seen) browse all titles button
and seen that Fortnite Battle Royale is not included in the offer. I think this is silly due to the title and the description not specifying that there was any limitation on what free game you picked as long as it was a free game and you made an in game purchase.
I am currently in the process of trying to complete as many Xbox Live Rewards missions as I can but this has really set me back. Could I obtain the reward due to the fact of misleading statements and false conditions. I have already talked to Xbox Support
and have been sent here under no good terms. Please Help

For help with the Microsoft Rewards program, you would need to contact their customer support via their redemption page. Chat support linked you to the Xbox Rewards program which is not the same.
