Lost my xbox gamertag account how to recover it

how long have you not signed into your abox account as they changed it from 5 years to 2 years for deletion of inactive accounts.

Probably a couple of years atleast.

There is nothing you can do to get the account back. You might want to read microsoft's policy about accounts, so you will know in the future.
