    Lost my World data


    I was playing Minecraft on my xbox, it is a survival world. Ive been playing for the past 8 months on this one world and it is really good I’ve achieved alot in this world and spent A LOT of time in it. I played 3 days ago prior to this question and when
    I did play I saved my game. I wanted to play but I couldnt so I went on my little brother’s xbox upstairs which had my account so I signed in and opened minecraft, it took a long time to load but it was syncing user data. When i clicked play and it showed
    my worlds, my survival world said LAST PLAYED 08/24/2019 WHICH WAS ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO. I WAS SO SCARED AND MAD AND I INSTANTLY QUIT THE GAME, SIGNED OUT AND CLOSED THE XBOX. I went on MY xbox and signed in and went on minecraft and it loaded and all my stuff
    was gone it said the sane thing it said on my brothers xbox even though i didnt play 8 months ago i only played three days ago from today.

    someone please help i really want my world back i spent literally about 8 months on it and i am so sad and mad.

    What exact data? Progress will not be lost, but worlds, texture packs, etc... will be lost, my friend.

    If there aren't any world files in the Minecraft directory, and you didn't make a backup of your data, the worlds may unfortunately be lost permanently.

    It's recommended to make frequent periodic backups of important data on your PC to prevent situations such as this.

    Hey there Victis!

    Have you tried loading up the minecraft worlds that you don't recognize to see if they're perhaps your worlds just with different names?

    If the worlds are definitely not yours, then it looks like your Minecraft data was lost.

    As Mister Fizzle said, there have been issues in the past where Minecraft Title updates have caused Minecraft worlds to be lost. It's possible that this has happened (since a Minecraft update came out recently).

    However, the loss of your Skyrim save seems to indicate that the process to move the data from your USB drive to your hard drive did not complete properly or errored during and caused the data to be lost.

    I'm sorry that I don't have better news for you.

    Hello There! I highly advise you to contact the developer of the game regarding your issue as they are the one who can answer it because such requests are controlled by the developer of the game and not the platform in which the game is played on
