    Lost my map


    I was playing MC and I died on a mountain a little ways away. I respawned back by my bed. I made my way back to where I'm 99% positive I was when I died. I now no longer have my map and can not seem to find all of my gear. I've searched all around the
    area and can't find anything. any help would be appreciated. Are there any signs or markers that will point me in the right way. I really don't want to have to start a new game just to get my map back.

    A compass (iron ingots & redstone), and paper (sugar cane).

    On what Goat said, you can find the compass and map under Tools and Weapons at the far right when at a crafting table.

    It disappears after 4-5 mins so if you took longer to get back it would have gone, you can make a new map,

    You need a to make a compass then turn that into a map

    If you are ultra lazy, sign in a second controller and take that map.

    I I was using too large a memory stick to do the upload. The xbox couldn't read it.

    I dropped to a 4 gig stick and it worked AOK.
