Lost My Main Minecraft World :(

Today I decided to check out my main save on Minecraft, I've spent a lot of time on developing and it was the only world that I really played. It was fine when I was using it last night, but when I went on today I noticed that the thumbnail next to the world
game was gone, and it was replaced with the thumbnail that the tutorial world has (the block of dirt with the grass on it).

I couldn't load the save at all, and every time I selected it nothing happened. I tried to make a copy of it, and again, nothing happened. I also tried clearing my local saves and resyncing, and all of my other worlds will sync, but nothing happens with
this one. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

Minecraft "Connection failed"

Okay so I fired up Minecraft and ran the update.

I tried to log into my worlds but I keep getting "Connection failed - connection to the server was lost. Exiting to the main menu"

Interesting I'm able to start a new world but when I go back I get the same message.

Can someone help me?

You can contact 4J Studios on Twitter, but I doubt they or anyone can do anything for you. The achievements aren't very difficult and most (if not all) can be unlocked quickly in the Tutorial world.

 

If you played on the old tutorial, it is gone to make room for the new one. Samething happened to me, 11 months gone! T

The block of dirt showed up for me when the console save and the cloud save are not the same. Try loading the newest save. Better days.....

 

Woffy, did you get anywhere with this, as I seem to have the same problem now

 

Unfortunately not been reading around and sadly haven't found a fix for it yet. Really frustrating

 

I make a lot of different survival and creative worlds and use a lot of them oftenly, today I was playing a world (saved it)then Imade a new account for my friend to play as then when I went back on to minecraft half of my world were missing. All having
that little dirt block icon.

I hope there is a fix cos that's a long time down the drain

 

All the worlds are now the dirt icon now for me as well.
