    Lost my game saved data


    Hi

    I went on to Destiny after getting the new DLC to find that it wouldn't load. It just sat at the loading screen and did nothing. So i closed the game and rebooted it. Still the same. Then I restart my xbox and that didn't change a thing. So i check the file
    and there is no saved data (on the xbox app it says I have played it for 70hrs). It seems like my saved data has been randomly deleted. No one else uses my xbox and it didn't make sense.

    I hope someone can help me with this!

    After beating the game it asked me to either go to the main menu or continue.

    i went to the main menu then decided to go start a new game with my same character.

    after starting i go to save it and all my memory from the last level was gone.

    i wanted to replay the level without having to do all the missions again.

    is this because i used import mass effect 2 character?

    Sorry to hear it. However, save data is stored on the Bungie servers, not Xbox. If you are experiencing issues with your save you'll need to contact them for more assistance.

    Starting a NEW game with the SAME character creates a completely new career, meaning you have to start from scratch, but your old career is still intact.

    If you just want to replay the last mission choose LOAD GAME, then Y to SWITCH CAREERS, then choose the Shepard that has the created date you want, and finally choose to Restart Collector Station mission (which should be highlighted green).

    I'm not sure this will fix your problem but it did for my friend and me, try restoring your Xbox and then re downloading your profile

    Unlike the first game, when you start a New Game Plus (Import a ME2 Character) in Mass Effect 2 it creates an entirely new save file file.

    Simply go into Load, press Y to switch careers and you will see that the other Shepard will still be there.
