Lost money

Dear anyone,

My mother transferred 40 euro’s to this account so I could buy some stuff in some games for my birthday. We do not have a lot of money so when my mom found out that the money never got to my account she kind of lost her mind, especially cause it was for
my birthday. I hope someone can tell me where it went wrong as I am part of her family on microsoftand she put it on my account over there. She already thought it odd she didn’t get any gift card redeem codes she usually gets when she orders stuff on microsoft.
I hope someone helps out cause I am more upset about my mom being upset rather than losing 40 euro’s in game stuff,
