Unfortunately you will need to contact support to get such information which can be done by going to https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/contact-us and always selecting
the second option so you can talk to a real xbox representive

I didn't get the 100k I lost from buying a cash card early on but I will probably be reimbursed when cash cards come back online.

Hi,

If the card is from the same issuer and your account with the issuer is still open you'll still receive the refund to your card even if the old card has expired or was reported lost/stolen.

Both VISA and Mastercard hold records of your previous card/s. While these old cards can't make purchases they can still receive money from refunds.
