lost Minecraft worlds due to xbox shutdown

Regarding your issue, I will need you to follow the troubleshooting steps provided below in order to resolve the issue:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

Another step that you can try to resolve the issue, would be to remove and re-add your account. In order to do that please go to: settings> account> remove accounts> remove your account.

You could also try this troubleshooting step to clear any corrupted data from your device:

1- Go to settings on your Xbox

2- Select system

3-Select storage

4- Clear local saved games and your console will automatically restart

Note: When doing this step please make sure that you always play online so that all your data is saved to the cloud

If the issue still persists after going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 10-15 seconds plug all your cables back in and then restart your console.

Regarding losing your world, I regret to inform you, but if you didn't back up the world before uninstalling Minecraft for the first time, the world is lost.
The reason for this is due to your worlds are stored locally in the following path:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds\

So, if you remove the launcher or Minecraft for Windows, this path is deleted as well. Therefore, without a backup, it's not possible to restore the missing world.

It sounds like your Xbox lost power at some point.

This has happened to me after a irregular power down. You may need to factory restore your Xbox to undo what damage might have been caused due to the irregular shutdown.

Yeah i agree this could cause data to be corrupted or lost, due to going back into the game being frozen forcing you to have to restart the game. For example many month of hard work on Minecraft world could be lost just going afk for 15 min coming back to your cloud gaming being disconnected. They need to fix this ASAP!!

I believe the Xbox 360 world to Minecraft Xbox one has actually ended now, due to it being too different. You can now transfer Minecraft Xbox one to Minecraft for Xbox one.
