Lost Minecraft worlds after reset

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. We understand that you have lost access to a Minecraft world you created after a factory reset. What happens when you try to access it? Does it even show up as a world you can attempt to access?

If you havent already, we recommend also getting in touch with the developers for further support in getting your world back.

reseting while keeping my games will reset while keeping the game icons, that is obvious but will my game progress be reset, for example I play Minecraft survival, will that world disappear, after the reset, or is it saved in a server somewhere?

I'm sorry to hear your world has been lost after resetting your old phone.
Not only that, but I regret to inform you that if you didn't back up the world or uploaded it to a realm before resetting your old phone. It's not possible to recover it in any other way due to, in Minecraft for phones, your worlds are saved locally.

Have you tried loading up the minecraft worlds that you don't recognize to see if they're perhaps your worlds just with different names?

If the worlds are definitely not yours, then it looks like your Minecraft data was lost.

As Mister Fizzle said, there have been issues in the past where Minecraft Title updates have caused Minecraft worlds to be lost. It's possible that this has happened (since a Minecraft update came out recently).

However, the loss of your Skyrim save seems to indicate that the process to move the data from your USB drive to your hard drive did not complete properly or errored during and caused the data to be lost.
