Lost Minecraft username after not having Xbox live!

Hello everyone, a while ago (oct 2022) I had gamepass for a month and played Minecraft on my pc, my ign was NecronBad and I very much liked it, unfortunately I stopped paying for live after those 2 months and now I’m trying to play again, I purchase gamepass and tried to go onto to Minecraft.net to verify everything was fine, but now it is prompting me to once again choose a username, even though I already chose one and when I try to put my original username it informs me it is already taken, despite namemc saying it’s been on the same account since oct last year. Please someone help me with this since I’m pretty desperate for my username back!
