Lost Microsoft account

Can anyone please help? My son recently contacted Microsoft as his games were glitching, they told him to reset his account to factory default,which he did. When he goes to sign in now it is no longer working. We've tried every email and password we know
We have filled in several forms to Microsoft to reset but they keep replying that it is insufficient information We can't get anywhere! Just keep being blocked! My son has spent around £300 on games and fortnite upgrades and we can't access any of it! It
also looks like the 12 month live gold we installed last month has been deleted !!! Please does anyone know if there is any way we can resolve this? I really miss the days when all you needed was an 'on' button! Seriously though, my son is devastated and I
just don't know what to do about it without the right email or password. Please help!

if you cannot access your microsoft account and have 2fa active then they are right all is lost, and as the microsoft account is the account that minecraft migrated too you have now lost minecraft if you cannot access the microsoft account.
