Lost gamertag and email access to account.

Hi, I have had a gamertag for about 3 years but the email address attached to it has now been replaced meaning that when I came to sign in today the email account is no longer recognized as a Microsoft address meaning that I can no longer do a password
reset or log in using those details. I set up an alternative email address so I thinking that I would be able to use this to do a password reset would be fine but this does not work either. I need to access my account to link my old gamertag to my new email
but there appears no way to do this without access to the old account meaning that 3 years of gaming has been lost and 4 months of a live subscription has gone too.

I have attempted to log in using my old email address and the alternative but it says that they are not Microsoft accounts but when trying to set up a new account on that email address it says they are! Clearly something isn't right there to make this occur.

I would really like to pick up the phone and just speak to somone to sort this out but I don't get that as a support option so can someone point me in the right direction please or should I just accept that it's gone for good?

Transferring Gamertag

Hey mate, do you still have an Xbox 360 console where you can sign-in to the gamertag? I'm guessing no if you've lost the email, but the following link has steps to do so if you still have access to the account on the 360:

If you've lost all access to the account, I'd suggest getting in contact Xbox phone support and seeing if they can help you change the email by proving you own the account through other personal details:

Unable to access Xbox 360 account/gamertag

I cannot remember the email address I used for a different gamertag/account (not this account) and therefore can no longer access the account when I try to sign in. The old account was made a long time ago. It is annoying that I have had to make a new account
and have lost access to DLC etc. All of the troubleshooting suggestions from Xbox don't help since they rely on already having access to the account.

Is there any other way of finding out which email address is linked to my gamertag/account?

**If it shows that it does not exists, contact Xbox Support to see if this Microsoft Account is still active.

Step 4: Contact Xbox Support for advance options if Step 1-3 fails to work.
